Bryan Michael Cox

On December 1 in the year of 1977 a young man by the name of Bryan Michael Cox would be born. His place of birth is the sunny state of Houston, Texas.  Little did Bryan know that throughout his years growing up that he would be the producer that he has become today. Pamela Cox exposed her son to the world of music at a very early and tender age of 7 years old. Pamela Cox showed deep interest as a musician herself; not knowing that because of her influence that the same interest would later grow in her son as well. Bryan’s mother sacrificed each payroll check for her son; purchasing old school records her son to listen to on a day-to-day basis.

Through out the earlier stages of his life, Bryan continued to show eagerness; attending the High School for the Preforming and Visual Arts, is where he would learn what it took to be a true musician and producer. While attending this school as a freshman he would have his first official encounter with a senior by the name of Beyonce Knowles-Carter; she would be the first voice that he would have ever worked with. 7 years later he would Bryan ended up being the main producer for the female group Destiny’s Child.

Many years later Bryan as accomplished so many obstacles, breaking records in the music industry, and setting high standards for others to follow.  He has produces songs for Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Usher, Keisha Cole, Trey Songs, Day 26, Justin Bieber, Monica, and Chris Brown. Bryan has been nominated from 2004-2010 for best album, best R&B song, to the best record of the year; not to mention that he has broken the record of having the most nominations as a music producer, surpassing the record that was held by the Beatles for the most consecutive number hits; 25 number hits, and 12 Grammy Award Nominations.
