Most people working in the music industry, people who made it as celebrities, and people who are working their way up the ladder inspires me. One person who I’ve been watching for the pass 8 years is a producer called Emmanuel Aden. He is the Co- Founder of "TuchPoint Productions", specializing in music production, music management & marketing and strategic positioning. He works with a Philly artist name Travis J. also known as TEFF who is working his way up the ladder as a Regg-Hop Artist and songwriter. Together Aden and TEFF have been spreading their music all over the US, UK, and the Caribbean islands. Their work keeps me motivated to work hard on music, production, and in the near future to begin marketing & management work.

TuchPoint & TEFFtv

While working in the music industry, we’ve noticed extreme changes with technology increasing. Over the past five years social networks like twitter and Facebook have had a major impact on how we manage, and market our clients.  For example, TEFF, created a Facebook and twitter page called “TEFFtv “, bringing in over 2,000 fans on Facebook, and over 12,000 followers on twitter. TEFFtv allows all TEFF fans to see all his latest music video, new songs, upcoming tour dates, etc.

Social media is very important when trying to promote your brand. It keeps fans updated consistently with just a click of a button. The infographic diagram shows Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram totally 15,530 followers. Using Social Media TEFFtv will continue to grow his fans all over the world.

While building a fan base with social media, there are always niches that will affect an artist progress. Strength plays a major part, without it there would be no reason to begin in the first place. New Artist with new ideas for the industry is always a plus, because fans are always ready for new material. At the same time weakness is right next-door, playing the part in stress from lack of resources other major labels carry. Opportunities is always encouraging, giving artist the ability to develop new ideas to the music industry.  In my own opinion, I think the music industry is one of toughest fields to work in. With most of the income generating from online, Internet piracy is the most destructive threat since most people obtain their music illegally, and or for free instead of paying the artist and label for it.

TEFF is an artist totally determined to make it to the top. Motivated with the drive of music and passion, he goes over and beyond to get his music across the world. If he’s not making money from his music, he’s putting out personal music videos & songs on social networks for his fans enjoyment.
