Protools 10

For all you sound engineers using Protools 8 or 9, Avid recently released Protools 10. With hundreds of new features and plugins Protools has more then enough for you to record or mix live or in a studio. Some features include:

• Clip gain control
• record in higher resolution
• works great with slow hard drives
• Over 500 Protools commands
• Export mixes to SoundCloud to promote your music

Protools also has it's downfalls:

• Clip based gain is a plus, but clip based EQ would be more convenient 
• Real-time, and cross-time fades don't drag properly
• The price to upgrade is very expensive 

In the end Protools is still the top of the line recording software to use for accurate recording. FL Studio, and Logic are good recording softwares, but is not advance as Protools.
