A Great Leader

While pursuing my college degree at Delaware State University, I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Tolley, the Music Technology professor. In my own opinion he is the definition of leadership. Owning his own record label and teaching music tech, he brought leadership, management, guidance, and direction to the classroom. Being that he already had the experience with his label, he had all the answers to our questions and led most of the students to become great music industry candidates.

Dr. Tolley is a very effective leader because he made sure you understood the material. He would take time out of his personal schedule and stop by the campus to let us in the studio to work on projects.

Dr. Tolley is an example of how I would lead my students or employees one day. Students respect, admire, and appreciated him for his work, time, and efforts. He demonstrated as a leader, you do not only want to supervise and teach but to set an example for future leaders.
